Artist Journal ~ March entries

I took my watercolor sketchbook journal along to Costa Rica.  I've written a little bit about my trip on my regular blog, so I won't add more here, but will let the pages tell the story in their own way.

Returning to the annual projects...

I'm back, though most likely sporadically over the next month while some very big changes take place in my life.

This past weekend, the very warm weather brought out the apple blossoms.  The air has been heady with their scent!  It's got to be one of my most favorite springtime smells.


On Monday, the weather turned cool and windy and the ground was covered with petals like snow.


Today, we had real snow.


I was surprised to see that the lilacs were already trying to bloom ~ over a month early!  Hoping they don't get frozen by the snow and cold temps that are expected tonight.  But we are glad to have the moisture here in Colorado where it has been exceptionally dry this late winter/early spring.
